About Me - Margaret Brittingham, LPC-MHSP

My Approach

As a Realization Process teacher and somatic psychotherapist, I guide you towards wholeness with precise yet compassionate practices. At the heart of my work is a simple invitation: slow down, listen inward, and meet yourself with presence.

In our work together, we slow down. We tune into what’s alive in your body and mind—sensations, emotions, and patterns as they arise.

From this grounded presence, tension softens, pain is digested, and an authentic self—steady, warm, unmistakably yours—begins to emerge.

Rather than stepping around difficult emotions, we meet them directly, with care. Old patterns reveal the wisdom that once protected you; together we honor that wisdom, loosen its grip, and weave the experience back into your larger wholeness.

At the same time, we name and strengthen the resilience that carried you here.

Relationships breathe again. Purpose clarifies. And a quiet happiness begins to show up in ordinary moments.

About Me

I have been walking this path for years, and I know it intimately: transforming suffering into strength and beauty, uncovering a deep, abiding sense of peace, wholeness, freedom, and joy that doesn’t ask you to deny any part of your experience.

Along the way, I’ve navigated the black holes and quicksand of the inner world—those places that spin you around with intrusive thoughts and repetitive emotions. I know how to restore gravity to our natural birthright of peace, joy, and freedom—and I can teach you to do the same.

I’ve known firsthand grief, loss, terror, rage, deep shame, self-abandonment, ongoing overwhelm, the shield of apathy, and the loneliness of pitch-black night. I’ve also learned how to touch the depths of emotion and feel the pure beating heart of life within them—and the silence that lives inside that heartbeat.

I know the relief of letting fresh air reach places that have been stagnant too long, and the transformation that becomes possible when it does.

I understand how overwhelming experiences get frozen in the body-mind and what it takes to release them, reorganizing your system into the present. I also understand relational patterns—the sticky, rigid dynamics that shape our most intimate connections—and how to help you navigate them with clarity, care, and a renewed delight in yourself and others.

As a widowed mother of two, I bring firsthand insight into the joys and challenges of family life, loss, and resilience.

My work is about helping you trace the threads of your experiences and follow them back to the still center where your radiant essence resides and has never been harmed. The invitation is simple: come as you are, and together we’ll walk towards the steady aliveness that has always lived within you.
